About me

Hi! I am Sterling (or Sloth) and I am a FOODIE. I love to cook, and for me, there is nothing better than sharing delicious foods with the world.

I created Slothstradamus (the name is a long story I'll share with you sometime) for my kids. They are my why. I have cooked for years but never wrote down my recipes (they are all in my head). After a delicious meal, the kids would always ask, "do you remember how to make it?"

Jokingly, I will usually respond, "nope, it's gone forever." Without fail, every time I begin cooking, one of the kids will ask if I'm writing it down. Yes, yes I am, kiddo.

This is me fulfilling a promise to them and to share positivity with as many people as I can in the process.

Slothstradamus is home to recipes, stories, adventures, cooking techniques, and expert recommendations.

My goal

Is to share easy to cook, delicious recipes that you can share with family and friends. I love sharing the stories behind the cuisine, the food, and the cook (me).
